Hello from the North Pole!
Dear Friend,
My name is your elf, and I am one of Santa's helper elves. Santa chose your home for me this year, and I am SO excited to be here!
Every day I will watch and listen. Every night I will fly back to the North Pole to tell Santa about your day, and in the morning you will find me in a brand-new spot.
There is just one important rule: please don't touch me. My Christmas magic is very fragile, and if I'm touched I might not be able to fly home. You can talk to me and tell me your wishes anytime. I'm a great listener!
I'll stay with you until Christmas Eve. Let's make this the best December ever.
Love,
your elf
P.S. I brought something for you. Look near the tree!
FAQ
What should an elf arrival letter say?
Introduce the elf by name, explain that it watches during the day and reports to Santa at night, state the no-touching rule and when it leaves (Christmas Eve).
Can I edit the letter?
Yes: type your child's name, your elf's name and the sign-off, choose a version, and edit the P.S. line. Everything happens in your browser; nothing is uploaded.
What paper should I print on?
Plain printer paper works. Parchment or light cream paper looks extra 'North Pole'. Roll it into a scroll and tie with ribbon.
